Space Saving Waste Bins by VOLA
A secret problem for space planning a residential bathroom that hardly ever shows up on the plans is where to put the trash can. Many commercial restrooms will have waste bins built into the counter or wall beneath the paper towel dispenser. Residential bathrooms however will usually have a trash can put somewhere by the owner. Placed on the floor this can take up valuable space needed for wheelchair turning and egress. Placed in the cabinet takes up storage and can be cumbersome to get to. A possible solution are these built into the wall waste bins by Danish company VOLA.
In and Out
These waste bins are part of VOLA’s Round Series which also include tissue dispensers. The RS1 model is a circular bin built flush into the wall. The top half can then spring out to reveal an opening to throw trash away. Size of the RS1 is 15 inches in diameter and 6 inches in depth.
Tissue For You
RS2 models are the tissue dispensers. Also built flush to the wall, they have a slot for tissue access. Diameter is 11.25 inches and depth is 6 inches.
Out But Still Away
The RS3 and RS4 models are waste bins that are built out from the wall. Size for the RS3 is 15 inches in diameter and 4.33 inches in depth. The RS4 is bigger in size with a nearly 9 inch diameter and just over 6.5 inches in depth.
Put A Lid On It
The last model in the series is the RS5 which is the same as the RS3 but with a lid. All of the models in the series come in black or white and with a polished chrome or brushed stainless steel outside ring.
