Bad Design Style: Case #71

I try to avoid doing a Bad Design Style example of a residential home because many times people are doing what they can. But this is just done way too wrong.

First the obvious one is the steepness of the ramp which is way too pitched. Even a light drizzle could turn this into a slippery slope, literally! The narrowness is also an issue especially with the drop off the edges. Then there’s the broken handrail which is a danger for both ramp and stairway users. This entrance would be difficult to make accessible but this is definitely not the way to do it.
