Everyday we do things that we take for granted because we do them without any problem. But for other people those some tasks can be difficult to do. Not that we should stop and appreciate every little thing or feel sorry for others, but an awareness of varying abilities is good to have. One task that many of us do with ease and without a second thought is using scissors. But for those with arthritis or other hand problems can have some difficulty. Thinking about it, using scissors uses a lot of individual fingers and hand muscles along with dexterity. A product that can make the cutting process easier are these Casta universal design scissors by HARAC of Japan.

Squeeze Only
The biggest difference between the Casta and typical scissors is in the handle. Instead of the loops where fingers go, there are two pads with springs. Now a person can hold the scissors in their palm or fingers and thumb. Springs between the pads then make it so the user only has to do a squeezing motion.

S-A-F-E-T-Y Safety
Beyond ease of use, the Casta scissors are also safety scissors. The blades are covered in a plastic sheath to cover the blade edges and points. Helping prevent any accidents. Colors available include white, green, blue, and brown.
