Google’s Glucose Reading Contact Lens for Diabetes
I have many close friends and family members who have diabetes. Of course the daily routine of checking glucose levels can be tedious and painful. But what if there was an easier way that wouldn’t interfere with daily life.
Google is now working on a prototype contact lens that can read glucose levels through tears. Tiny microchips would operate the contact lens as glucose levels are measured. There is an idea that LEDs could notify of high or low glucose levels. The technology is still years away but it is in the works. For more information visit this link.
